Feedback About our School

We are very proud of the children and staff at our school and love hearing positive comments from parents and the community. Below are some recent comments, thank you for taking the time to say 'thank you' and 'well done.'

June 2017

I just wanted to say a huge well done to you, your staff team and your young people for their performance on Friday afternoon in Birstall. The children were fabulous and a real credit to you and your school. What wonderful ambassadors. Great job- well done.

I just wanted to say how amazing your year 6s were today. They sang so beautifully! You have a very talented group of young people there and what lovely lyrics.

Dear Mrs Evans,
I had the good fortune to encounter some pupils from St. Peter's today and thought I should congratulate them and the staff on their excellent behaviour and attitude. The class in question were arriving to swim at about one o'clock as I was leaving the pool. They were smartly dressed and, more importantly, very sensibly behaved. I swim regularly and encounter lots of schools, often in a state of some excitement which is infectious and charming, but your pupils seemed mature beyond their years. One boy in particular took the initiative of stopping his oncoming classmates to open the door for me. I was impressed by his good manners and by the co-operation he received from his peers. I had the strong sense that had I arrived at the door a moment sooner or later I would have received a similar courtesy from which ever pupil happened to have been at the door at that moment.
As someone who has recently retired from a teaching in a secondary school, working mostly with Sixth Formers, I am keenly aware that such positive attitudes and calm co-operative behaviour do not happen by accident and all too often go unrecognised by the public.
Please pass on my good wishes and thanks to the students. I wish them every success in the future and lots of fun swimming.
Kind regards,
Kate Symons.
