Homework

At St Peter's, we strongly believe that homework should only consist of reading and times tables. 

We encourage all children to read at home for at least 10 minutes a day as part of their homework. To do this, we hold a weekly reading raffle. The more a child reads, the more raffle tickets they will receive. Each week, each class teacher will draw a raffle ticket in our Golden Book Collective Worship and the winner will get to choose a new book from the reading raffle box. 

As part of our times tables homework, we use the website 'Times Table RockStars.' Children will be set weekly challenges on here and may compete in battles with other classes. Click here to access Times Table RockStars
